A woman from Hong Kong had come to me and was feeling very unsatisfied with life. She had a strained relationship with her family and son, a boyfriend she wanted to leave, and she was worried that she was becoming a bit of a hoarder.
Throughout her energy healing, her guides insisted that she incorporated one technique into her daily life.
Gratitude journaling.
They instructed her to write down three things she was grateful for every single day, and it had to be different than the day before.
She had never looked for gratitude in her life before – she had been stuck in comparison mode. Constantly seeing what others around her had that she didn’t. It made her bitter and stuck in old cycles.
She came back for another session about a year later. I will admit that I did not expect to see the level of transformation that this woman had undergone.
Her son and her were closer than ever. She had a better relationship with her staff and her family. She had gotten rid of loads of clothes and things she didn’t need, and she had moved on from her boyfriend.
She told me that she had gratitude journaled every single day since we had last spoken and her life had completely changed for the better.
I was amazed. Energy healings do create massive transformations – but a large amount of it comes from how someone incorporates the information and techniques afterwards.
In my own life gratitude journaling has served me well. I realized that even in my most difficult chapters there was always something to be grateful for. The gratitudes are simpler then – grateful for a blue sky, or a day without pain – but there is always something to be grateful for.
It is too easy to become stuck in what we don’t have, what other people get to do, what hasn’t worked out for us. That energy can eat us alive if we let it.
When we force ourselves to look for gratitude we start building that muscle and start seeing it everywhere.
And when we look at the vibration of gratitude it is so lovely and peaceful with bits of joy laced in. Simply stating what you are grateful is – by far – the easiest way to nurture your vibration and bring it into a healthier state.
The healthier and ‘higher’ your vibration is – the easier it is to manifest miracles, to bring in more peaceful moments, and the easier it is to access your spiritual gifts.
My guides taught me to write three things down every day, and to change it up every single day. When I broke my dominant wrist and couldn’t write I started to instead thing about what I’m grateful for while I’m falling asleep, or to recognize and think about it throughout my day.
I’ve noticed that every time I do I feel better afterwards. I stop nitpicking my life, I stop fretting about what isn’t here yet. I immediately feel better and lighter in my body.
Energy work teaches us that most things act like a muscle – the more you train it the better it gets. If you neglect it, then you lose it.
Start training your gratitude muscle today, and see how it shifts your life.
